At SmartForce, if you missed an important meeting and inquired about what went on, someone would volunteer that the PowerPoints were available on the intranet. Oh, joy. I generally find unnarrated PowerPoint decks about as meaningful as Rorschach ink blots: you can read anything you want into them.
Today, while thumbing through a presentation on SlideShare, I thought there has to be a better way. I want to hear what the speaker had to say about what appears on the slide. However, I don’t want to be trapped in a half hour presentation waiting for the good stuff. Give me some way to thumb through the slides and pick the ones I want to listen to. Hence, this experiment.
