Yes - unfortunately couldn't be at DevLearn but I discovered that I was about to co-ordinate a project in the summer on blogs and wikis and by a chance conversation found out that our UK KM team was also about to do the same thing. So we joined forces, we had a lot of very helpful discussions about differences between what is learnt and what knowledge is simply acquired and how to distribute and find it.

We have produced more templates because we were able to provide KM team with wider range of feedback and helped consult on best practices for training people in using 'things' such as wikis, blogs.

We also saved the company the cost of a project.

Also able to provide people with wider perspective on how people are doing learning or knowledge management and we have extended conversations to global KM and US KM and other areas which is leading to some great collaboration.

Who knows what we could achieve with beer too ;-)
