Word Press glitch solved

A few days back, the title of this blog inexplicably changed from Arial font to Times, as did the dates by each post. The titles of individual posts became italicized. I had not touched any presentation settings. WTF?

Then I remembered an issue I had with Blogger back in the pleistocene era of blogging. I had posted an item and all the text beneath it turned red. I discovered an unclosed font color=”red” tag in the last post that got picked up by every previous post.

I opened up recent posts here and found a Word doc I had saved as HTML and pasted into Word Press without deleting Microsoft XML bloat code. I chopped it out, and everything returned to normal.

The presentation layer is not quite independent from the content.
