I provide 1 minute end of the week wrap-ups for my 100% online students. I use Garage Band in my MacBookPro and put out a finished product in about 15 minutes. If I'm on the road, I use Gcast - I can call in my podcast from my cell phone. So cool! My students love the connection they get from hearing my voice. I like the fact that I don't have to fiddle with a lot of technology. The hardest part is remembering my pin #. :-) Nanocasts are perfect for weekly postings with distance learning. I'm much more likely to have a couple spare minutes during the day than I am to have a spare half hour. Keep 'em coming! I think these nanocasts are perfect. Jay you've done it again (I'm starting to feel a bit repetitious on this..).. I'm sitting in my room in faraway Israel and actually got a definite feeling of a part of the conference. The length is just right for you to present a specific subject. I'd suggest adding some visual aid, like a mind map of the conference subjects, with the nanocasts popping up from them. Your facilitating was just appropriate and maybe David Letterman should start worrying... Keep them coming!! WHOW!!!
